| GOALS OF THE CAMP
The combination of nature and skate is ideal for motivating and encouraging young people to fully enjoy a youth camp whose main ingredients are fun, learning, discovery and meeting people. All this is certain to create a satisfying experience that will provide everything parents and tutors could wish for their children. It doesn’t matter how good they are at skating, as classes and activities will adapted to their level, and safety will always be the number one priority.
These camps are trilingual, in English, Spanish and Catalan, enabling young people from all over the world to take part, meet and practice different languages. Around 75% of the activities and all everyday announcements (information, programmes, signs) will be in English.
| | We know how difficult it is to organise activities that are at once safe, educational and fun. However, we are convinced that the NatureSkate youth camps we describe here (an idea we have developed into a mature, rounded educational project thanks to our experience as a leisure education company with considerable experience in organising adventure camps) successfully combine all three, and we are certain that we will produce excellent results to confirm this. | In short, the objectives of these youth camps are to:
Encourage young people to discover and enjoy nature in an environmentally-friendly way. Enable them to learn and practice their skating in safety. Provide opportunities to practice English whilst taking part in enjoyable activities. Encourage participants to make friends with each other. Reinforce good habits and routines whilst enjoying new experiences in a completely different environment from that of the school or the family. |
